My name is Zach Ruffin, this blog is intended to be a personal space for me to share things that I'm working on, or things that I'm interested in, outside of the hustle and bustle of normal social media. I really don't like the idea of giant corporations owning all of my data so this is me taking a slice back for myself.
A little about me: I'm a father of three, I like tending my flower garden, watching baseball, and I've been doing web development since ~2000. These days I mostly do back-end work in .net, nothing fancy, At the moment I'm designing and implementing a case management center for my day job at The National Center for Missing and Exploited Children. When that wraps up I'm hoping to build some exciting new tools for them on that platform.
I'm currently based out of Alexandria VA, in the DC Metro area of the United States.
