In a conversation with one of my sisters she mentioned that she was looking for recent photos of me on instagram and couldn't find any. My facebook profile picture is one of me attempting to hold all three of my boys in my arms, a truly impossible feat now that my oldest is taller than I am. Heck, even the photo on this site is around 6 years old, so I guess she has a point. I'm not purposely stuck in the past, I just need a new solution.
Here is what I ended up coming up with, AI assisted of course, I'll write a blog post about the technical details soon. But overall I'm satisfied with what I have for now, it's a good starting point. I can easily snap a picture on my phone and upload it to the page with almost the same ease as uploading it to social media. The page is only going to display a small selection of photos and each month it should change automatically.
While I was digging around I also added a friends page where I link to the websites of people who I personally know, and trust, in keeping with the old-school Web 1.0 aesthetic of this site.
